Frequency Domain Based Repetitive Control of Three Phase Boost PWM Rectifier under Distorted Supply Voltage Conditions
This paper presents a digital plug-in frequency domain based repetitive control scheme for minimizing the even order harmonics at the output dc link voltage and odd order harmonics in the line currents under the distorted and unbalanced supply voltage conditions. The proposed current controller consists of a conventional PI controller and a frequency domain based plug-in repetitive controller. ...
متن کاملA New PLL Simulation Validation for Three-phase Grid under Heavy Distorted Conditions
The precision of phase-locked loop (PLL) has a direct effect on the output performance for three-phase grid-connected inverter or three-phase active PFC. In this paper, a new three-phase digital closed-loop phase-locked algorithm is proposed on the basis of synchronous reference frame transformation. Synchronous simulation of the PLL techniques is a good choice even if the polluted three-phase ...
متن کاملLow Voltage Ride Through Enhancement Based on Improved Direct Power Control of DFIG under Unbalanced and Harmonically Distorted Grid Voltage
In the conventional structure of the wind turbines along with the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), the stator is directly connected to the power grid. Therefore, voltage changes in the grid result in severe transient conditions in the stator and rotor. In cases where the changes are severe, the generator will be disconnected from the grid and consequently the grid stability will be attenu...
متن کاملDesign of a Digital Voltage Controller in Single-Phase Grid-Connected Renewable Converters
Power decoupling of pulsating grid side power from constant source side power is one of the paramount issues in single phase-phase grid-connected renewable systems. The principal aim of such systems is the decrease of the capacitance of the decoupled capacitor. However, this causes some problems such as an increase in the total harmonic distortion (THD) of injected current to the grid and bus v...
متن کاملPassivity-Based Direct power control of Shunt Active Filter under Distorted Grid Voltage Conditions
Despite its many advantages, the conventional direct power control (DPC) of shunt active power filters (SAPF) poses some problems. This paper investigates the design of a new control technical combining DPC control and passivity theory (PT) to ensure quasi-sinusoidal grid currents, under various conditions of the source voltages. The proposed approach (DPC-PT) appeals to the theory of symmetric...
